Garan's Great Adventure

This is the picture that almost got Julie's camera seized by JFK Security. . . and no wonder. yeesh.

Garan is off to Korea to teach English and music, Juilliard and Indiana degrees in hand. He and Julie took pictures of each other after he'd gone through Security and mounted the escalator to the ticketed-only area. They both almost had their cameras confiscated for photographing said Security area between them. You'd think one of us would have thought that taking those pics might not be a good idea. His punishment? A 13+ hour trip to Japan, then a short flight to Seoul. According to the Tokyo Narita Airport website, the commuter flights to Seoul are on little pink planes with heart-shaped windows. The pics are from Julie's camera.

It's easy to sound sooooo dorky online. And few things are more dorky in concept than a blogging grandmother. yeesh. I'm a vegetable today, watching movies, doing the x-word, thinking about painting Vessko's room. . . .
Korea has become much more interesting these past 24 hours. Like this: http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=14745
The people upstairs seem to be engaged in an enormous construction project today.
